Cities in Cheatham County

 

Ashland City - The county seat of Cheatham County, Ashland City stands along the banks of the Cumberland River.  The historic Cheatham County Courthouse, the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail, the Senior Center at Ashland City, Cheatham Lake, and the Cheatham County Public Library call Ashland City home.  The town is easily accessed by Highway 12 and Highway 49. Ashland City hosts Summerfest in June and the Cheatham County Fair in August. If you're hungry, you'll find Whitt's Barbecue, The Lunch Box, Vuocolo's Italian Restaurant, Riverview Restaurant & Marina, McDonald's, and more! 

   

Kingston Springs - Located off Interstate 40's Exit 188, Kingston Springs boasts a quaint downtown area with the Fillin' Station and SkyKing Pizza, several of the Harpeth River State Park's most unique attractions (Mound Bottom Archaeological Site and Pattison Forge), and canoe & kayak outfitters.  Be sure to visit during the annual ART in the PARK, held at L.L. Burns Park on the first Saturday of October.

 

 Pegram - Pegram is home to several musicians and artists who showcase their talents at Fiddle & Pick Musical Heritage Center and Mud Puddle Pottery Studio.  Don't miss their annual Independence Day Celebration at Pegram Park. Pegram is just a few minutes away from Bellevue on Highway 70.

 

 Pleasant View - Located off Interstate 24's Exit 24, Pleasant View is Cheatham County's northernmost town.  Be sure to visit historic Old Towne Pleasant View, home of The Livery Stables Events Hall, Blue Springs Gifts, and Elks Outdoors.  If restaurants are your thing, don't miss Pleasant View Village--home to Cheatham County's only Japanese restaurant, Kuramoto, as well as the Pleasant View Village Diner, Chris' Pizza, and Guadalajara Mexican Grill.  Be sure to check out Cruise'n n Groove'n, the monthly classic car show held May through October on Main Street.
